American Ghost Adventures Information Sheet
About AGA:
In the shadows of the theme, park castles lie American Ghost Adventures. AGA prides themselves on giving their customers an accurate, but entertaining tour. No two tours are ever alike even if you take the same tour! Each tour guide is able to customize the route and buildings they take you in. There is NO set number of buildings you visit because AGA does not own the buildings. AGA depends on and customizes the tours to the availability of their business partners. AGA is currently ranked in the top 10 of things to do in Orlando and has also won the Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. They also hold the ranking for one of the TOP 10 ghost tours IN THE WORLD and one of the TOP 5 ghost tours in the United States. With several different locations and types of tours, AGA can accommodate the most seasoned ghost hunter to the first-timer. This is not just a ghost telling tour, we investigate and take you INSIDE the building with paranormal equipment. So don’t wait, come join us on an adventure! This isn’t just another walk in the dark!
Price:
Depending on the tour location, prices can range from $20 to $250.00. We do offer discounts for groups of 10 or more and the best place to find current prices will be online at americanghostadventures.com We can be contacted at 407-256-6225 and our email address is americanghostadventures@gmail.com.
How Long Does It Last?
General Rule is as follows: Downtown Tours are 2 hours, Pub Tours are 3 hours, and Investigations/Ultimate Tours last about 4 hours. Some may run slightly longer or shorter depending on the group size and paranormal activity that is going on. These are all WALKING TOURS. The 2-hour tours are considered sample tours that include history, ghost stories, and a mini-investigations. Our pub tours are more storytelling and drinking. Our Ultimate tour has more equipment, more time at locations and more time to investigate. Tour runs rain or shine and AGA reserves the right to cancel a tour due to severe weather conditions and other operational factors.
Who Can Come:
Tours are appropriate for all ages. It’s family friendly! *Parents, you know your child best and maturity will be the key factor in determining if they should come on a tour or not. For our Handicap guest, please keep in mind that some of our buildings are historical so a few of them may not be handicap accessible. We would NOT advise this tour for someone that is intoxicated or has been hogtied and kidnapped for the tour!
What Will I See on A Tour?
This is a ghost tour NOT a haunted house. It’s called a ghost tour because we talk about the past not because we guarantee you a ghost sighting. Therefore, our guides will NOT be jumping out at you or grabbing you like in a haunted attraction. We do NOT employ Slimer or Casper so they WON”T be making an appearance on our tour. People have seen shadow people, things moving, and other unexplained situations but each experience can vary from location to location. Keep in mind that we are dealing with REAL spirits and we can’t just make them appear on command. For returning guest, please understand, no two tours are ever alike. You may NOT visit the same buildings you visited before! Each guide has their own favorites and since we don’t own the buildings, we depend on and customize our tours to the availability of our business partners.
Locations:
We currently offer CITY TOURS in Downtown Orlando, Deland, Winter Garden, and a hotel tour in Mt Dora. Certain locations will require a minimum number of people to run. The minimum does not need to be from one group. We also do SPECIAL ENGAGEMENTS and PRIVATE TOURS at different locations. We can even come to you! Our website and Facebook page is the best way to see upcoming events and locations.
What should I wear?
Comfortable shoes is a must! Florida is known for its unexpected showers so an umbrella during rainy season would be wise. We will be walking outdoors so dress appropriately for the season.
Things to Bring on Tour:
A positive and open mind is one of the best things to bring on the tour. Camera and any non– noise making equipment for ghost hunting. (2-hour tour) We ask if you film any part of our tour that you let us know ahead of time and that you credit AGA where appropriate. Cash for snacks, tips, parking and for souvenirs. On our 4 hour investigations, you are more than welcome to bring all your ghost hunting equipment!
