In the shadows of the theme park castles lies American Ghost Adventures. The founder of the company has been doing tours for over a decade in Central Florida. AGA prides themselves in giving their customers an accurate, but entertaining tour. No two tours are ever alike and the tours leave you walking away wanting more! AGA is currently ranked in the top 10 of things to do in Orlando and has also won the Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor. They also hold the ranking for one of the top 10 ghost tours in the world and one of the top 5 ghost tours in the United States. How Long Does It Last?
The General Rule is as following: Downtown Tours are 2 hours, Pub Tours are 3 hours, and Investigations last about 4 hours. Some may run slightly longer or shorter depending on the group size and paranormal activity that is going on. Tour runs rain or shine and AGA reserves the right to cancel a tour due to severe weather conditions.
Who Can Come:
Tours are appropriate for all ages. It’s family friendly! *Parents, you know your child best and maturity will be the key factor in determining if they should come on a tour or not. For our Handicap guest, please keep in mind that some of our buildings are historical so a few of them may not be handicap accessible. We would NOT advise this tour for someone that is intoxicated or has been hogtied and kidnapped for the tour!
What Will I See on A Tour?
This is a ghost tour NOT a haunted house. Therefore, our guides will NOT be jumping out at you or grabbing you like in a haunted attraction. We do NOT employ Slimmer or Casper so they WON”T be making an appearance on our tour. People have seen shadow people, things moving, and other unexplained situations but each experience can vary from location to location. Keep in mind that we are dealing with REAL spirits and we can’t just make them appear on command.
We are currently in Downtown Orlando, Deland, Winter Garden, Sanford and Mt Dora. We also do special engagements at different locations. We can even come to you! Our website and Facebook page is the best way to see upcoming events and locations.
What should I wear?
Comfortable shoes is a must! Florida is known for it’s unexpected showers so an umbrella during rainy season would be wise. We will be walking outdoors so dress appropriate for the season.
Things to Bring on Tour:
A positive and open mind is one of the best things to bring on the tour. Camera and any non- noise making equipment for ghost hunting. (2 hour tour) We ask if you film any part of our tour that you let us know ahead of time and that you credit AGA where appropriate. Cash for snacks, tips, parking and for souvenirs. On our 4 hour investigations, you are more than welcome to bring all your ghost hunting equipment!
Cancellation Policy/General Event Policy
All events and portions of our events are for entertainment purposes only.
American Ghost Adventures, affiliates and sponsors are not responsible for personal belongings or parked vehicles. We do not provide storage for personal items during our tours.
Parking is not provided. Please arrive early to secure public parking. We are not responsible for parking tickets or other infractions. Street Parking is Free after 6:00pm and is free on Sunday. Please obey all parking signs to avoid towing or other mishaps with your vehicle.
American Ghost Adventures is not responsible for misprints or miscommunications by the media. The events, dates & times, and ticket prices on our official website are correct, and incorrect media interpretations will not be honored. Please call us if the information you have seen or heard about one of our events does not match the information on our web site or just have general questions.
Guests are responsible for reading full event descriptions and details, Cancellations and this Disclaimer prior to purchasing a ticket. American Ghost Adventures is not responsible for guests who fail to read or misread information presented herein.
Video, picture taking and audio recording are permitted when indicated by a guide only and when the guide is informed of your intentions. If you are publicly sharing video, pictures, audio please do it tastefully and please give credit to American Ghost Adventures when appropriate.
Please be considerate of others and refrain from smoking during our tours. Indoor events are strictly non-smoking, though designated smoking areas are available.
American Ghost Adventures cannot control the actions of guests or non-guests. In the event there is a problem with another guest or non-guest, ask a Tour Guide for assistance immediately.
Please leave pets at home for the safety and health of others. However, assisting dogs are always welcome.
Please do not litter or stray onto private property during our tours. You must obey by all posted signs.
AGA’s guide will be obeying all traffic laws and can’t guarantee you absolute safety on our tour. We will do everything in our means to ensure safety but it is also your responsibility.
Guides reserve the right to ask any person or group of persons to leave for violating any of these policies or interfering with the enjoyment of others during our presentations. No refunds are given to persons removed from tours or events.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL! Please DO NOT ask the tour guide for a refund. They DO NOT have the authorization to do so. Please check with your entire party and verify dates before purchasing tickets! If you must cancel, we can issue you a ONE TIME rain check that must be booked within 90 days. We can mail you a hard copy of your ticket so you can give it away if need be. Florida is a tourist destination so we understand that you can overbook yourself but please understand if you chicken out, get tired, get lost, change your mind, or even if it’s the last day of your vacation and you’re leaving tomorrow we can offer you a raincheck but ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Under extreme conditions if a refund is issued, a surcharge may be assessed.
For large group consisting of more than 10 people, if your cancellation is done 30 days prior to your event you will receive a full refund. If it ‘s less than 30 days of your event, you will receive a refund minus $5.00 per person booking fee. If the group cancels within 3 days of the tour, there are NO REFUNDS. Only a rain check can be issued and it has to be booked within 90 days of cancellation.
Our tours run rain or shine. It will have to be EXTREME weather conditions for us to cancel. Example: National weather warning alerts. In the rare event that American Ghost Adventures MUST CANCEL a tour, we will call you and give you the option of a FULL refund or rescheduling. You will not be given a refund unless AGA cancels the tour.
